Join us for a presentation with two successful women entrepreneurs. The topic of the night will contain the rewards and challenges, the how to and networking of female entrepreneurs. There will be an open forum Q&A to follow.

Guest Speakers Biographies

Monica Wilson; Owner, Pharmaceutical Marketing Consulting Firm

Monica Wilson has over 16 years of recent pharmaceutical industry experience, having managed turnarounds and growth of some of Canada’s most prescribed brands in class.Since 2007, Monica Wilson has been working as a Strategic Planner and Marketing Consultant to the Pharmaceutical Industry. Prior to commencing her own company, Monica Wilson et Associés Inc., she was a Director of Marketing at Sanofi-Aventis Canada.

From 1992 to 1995, Monica worked as a sales representative with Rhône Poulenc Rorer, a predecessor of Sanofi-Aventis. She joined the Marketing Department in 1995, as a Market Research Analyst. After becoming a Product Manager in 1996, she held a variety of senior marketing management positions such as Senior Brand Manager (1998-2000), Group Brand Manager (2001-2004) and Director of Marketing (2005-2007).  In 1991, she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Bishops University. Monica was recipient of the P.H. Schowan Scholarship for Academic Excellence from 1989-1990.

Louise Perrier; Owner, Pharmaceutical Marketing Consulting Firm

Louise Perrier has worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 1982 after a few years of teaching within a high school. Prior to becoming a consultant in strategic planning, Louise spent 61/2 years working in sales and marketing positions.

Louise started as a pharmaceutical representative with Sterling Winthrop calling on GP’s, specialists and pharmacies.  She then spent four years in product management and new product development both at Sterling Winthrop and CIBA-Geigy.In 1988, Louise joined Tandem International Inc., a management consulting firm, that specialized in marketing and sales planning.  This work included training managers on marketing or sales plans, facilitating meetings to help management teams develop business plans, facilitating advisory board meetings or analyzing customer research to support decisions within business plans.Louise decided to continue this work within her own practice in 1996.
