About Us

The John Molson Women in Business Club (WIBC) is an association targeting all women currently enrolled as well as graduates from the graduate programs of the John Molson School of Business. Founded in September 2005 by graduate students from JMSB’s MBA and DIA programs, MBA Candidate Carole Charbonneau is the WIBC’s President for the 2008-2009 academic year.

Through speakers series, various networking and social events, workshops and community activities, the WIBC aims to be an active, visible, and integral part of the John Molson School of Business life. Our innovative mentorship program, successfully launched in November 2007, will continue this year (now accepting applications; see "WIBC Mentoring Program on the menu at the left).

The WIBC helps expose JMBS’s graduate women to the Montreal business community, preparing students into their future careers. We are also working towards building a strong platform for women graduates to have a lasting bond amongst themselves and with Concordia University.

Our mission is to enhance students’ lives by providing a network to interact with fellow colleagues, alumni, and the powerful businesswomen from Montreal’s diverse industry sectors.
