WIBC/CMS Career Strategy Workshop
During graduate studies, students have numerous opportunities to network and meet prospective employers. What happens once those introductions are made? How can one leverage these relationships to each one's career objectives? And how does one negotiate the job offer process?
NEGOTIATING THE JOB OFFER
Presented by: Bob Menard, Graduate Career Advisor
Do you know what you should be considering when receiving an offer from an employer? Do you know which items of compensation are negotiable, and what strategies to use to get the most leverage in the job offer negotiation process? Are you comfortable in "nibbling" in negotiations to ensure you do not leave too much on the table? If you answered "no" to any of these questions, or think that "nibbling" is a polite way of eating hors d’œuvres at a cocktail party, then attending this workshop just might help you in preparing for next time you'll negotiate a job offer.
Please let us know if you plan on attending by no later than 3pm on Wednesday, March 21st (so we can ensure enough cupcakes for everyone!!) by CLICKING HERE.
